The initial ideas came from the name and identity of SCM itself, which name (Surya) means the sun, hence our bright, round-oriented designs for the office. But it was important for us to combine these two characters of big TV stations into one sleek design without treating one station better than the other.
We saw that the workflow in SCM is never-ending, like a city that never sleeps. Thus, we also added more interesting facilities such as discussion pods, fish tanks, and also vending machines that everyone can use with a smartphone app, which make the office atmosphere fun and dynamic.
SCM also supports the implementation of reusable materials, and they gave us the opportunity to refurbish the workplace, from the doors to the lockers, to make it more cost-efficient.
